Nafiza Akter

Nafiza Akter, Ed.D., serves as the Associate Director and Training Development Lead at Pfizer since August 2021, where responsibilities include designing and developing training programs, implementing innovative training methodologies, and managing compliance and effectiveness of training initiatives. Prior to Pfizer, Nafiza held the position of Associate Director of Instructional Design at Teachers College of Columbia University, overseeing instructional design practices and creating engaging online learning experiences. Nafiza's experience encompasses roles as Course Developer/Instructional Designer at Columbia University, Instructional Designer at New Jersey Institute of Technology, and various positions at Adelphi University, all focused on enhancing educational practices and leveraging technology in learning. Nafiza earned a Doctor of Education degree in Adult Learning and Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Adelphi University.
