Nathaniel Leachman

Nathaniel Leachman is a Senior Corporate Counsel at Pfizer, where they apply their expertise in life science intellectual property and patent law. With over eight years of experience, Nathaniel has a strong background in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and conducting legal analyses, working with a range of clients from startups to multinational pharmaceutical firms. Prior to their current role, Nathaniel held positions as a Patent Agent and Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. They earned their J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. Nathaniel's early career included research roles at UCSF and the Institute for Human Virology.
