Stephen Matteson

Stephen Matteson is a seasoned statistical programming professional with extensive experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. Initially serving as a Statistical Programmer at Brown University, Matteson later contributed to public health data analysis at the Rhode Island Department of Health. After transitioning to the corporate sector, contributions were made at Quintiles Transnational and Pfizer, where roles included Associate Director and Global Head of Statistical Programming Standards. Matteson has a strong background in clinical trial reporting and the development of programming standards, demonstrated by leading initiatives at Pfizer that focused on implementing CDISC standards and advancing IT strategies to support clinical research. Matteson holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
