Director (head Of Quality)/ Team Lead at Pfizer

Steve McKee has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on quality control and analytical development. Steve started their career at Quanterra in 1989, where they served as a Supervisor and Chemist, overseeing a team and implementing operating procedures for various analytical processes.

In 2002, McKee joined Sandoz and took on roles such as Materials Testing Supervisor and Method Remediation Project Supervisor, where they led teams, implemented process improvements, and ensured compliance with industry standards and guidelines.

Steve continued to advance their career at Sandoz, eventually becoming an Associate Director in Quality Control Analytical Science and Technology, where they managed a team and supported various manufacturing and technology projects.

In 2015, McKee joined Array BioPharma Inc. as a Director of Quality Control, responsible for overseeing the analytical method development, validation, and stability programs for small molecule pharmaceutical products.

Most recently, in 2020, McKee joined Pfizer as a Director and Head of Quality, where they are accountable for the quality and compliance oversight of Pfizer's contract manufacturing portfolio, including managing vendors for Covid-19 external supply manufacturing and large molecule/bio-similar products.

Throughout their career, McKee has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and an ability to effectively manage and oversee quality control and analytical development processes.

Steve McKee attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemistry.
