Tristan Maurer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Tristan began their career as a Pharmacist at University Hospital Augusta, GA in 1992 and then moved to Medical College of Georgia as a Pharmacist in 1993. In 1999, Tristan joined Pfizer Pharmaceuticals where they held various positions including Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, Senior PS, Associate Research Fellow, and Research Fellow until 2012. In the same year, they joined Pfizer Laboratories PFE as a Vice President and worked there until 1999. Tristan then returned to Pfizer and held roles such as Senior Director from 2013 to 2019, Executive Director from 2019 to 2021, and currently serves as the Vice President of Scientific Research since November 2021.
Tristan Maurer completed a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Clinical Pharmacy at The University of Georgia from 1986 to 1993. Tristan also obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from the University at Buffalo from 1994 to 1999. Prior to their professional studies, Tristan attended Heritage High School (Conyers, GA), graduating from their College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program in 1981. Additionally, they pursued further education in the field of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy from 1986 to 1993.
