Verena Rupp

Verena Rupp is a Senior Medical Affairs Scientist for Rare Diseases at Pfizer, a role held since April 2019, following experience as a Medical Science Relation Manager in the same field. Prior to joining Pfizer, Verena worked at Medizinische Universität Graz from August 2010 to March 2019, where key contributions included a postdoctoral research fellowship and the identification of novel disease genes for hereditary neurodevelopmental disorders. Verena also holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine and has engaged in various internships and research fellowships at prestigious institutions, including Stanford University and Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedicine and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. Additional certifications in Medicines Development were obtained through partnerships with IFAPP Academy & Tufts University and King’s College London.
