Wouter Knapen is currently the Lead New Modalities at Pfizer, having joined the company in 2021. Prior to this role, Wouter worked as a Project Lead in Launch Excellence and served as a Project Engineer for Product Support Biologicals at Pfizer. Wouter earned a Master’s degree in Bioscience Engineering, specializing in Cell and Gene Technology, from KU Leuven in 2011. Additionally, Wouter's past experience includes roles as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies and as a Project Optimization Manager at Danone, alongside completing a PhD on antibiotic stress at KU Leuven from 2011 to 2015.
