Paul Howley

Paul Howley is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in operational and technological transformation across various financial and insurance organizations. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at PG Mutual since April 2020, Paul has also held the position of Chief Technology and Transformation Officer at The Nottingham from December 2022 to July 2025. Prior to that, significant roles were undertaken at Yorkshire Building Society from August 2014 to October 2022, including Interim Chief Operating Officer and multiple directorships in IT and transformation. Previous experience includes leadership positions at RSA, Lloyds Banking Group, United Utilities, and RBS Insurance. Paul earned an MSc in Radio Astronomy from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Physics from Imperial College London.
