Terry Johnson

Terry Johnson is a seasoned golf operations professional with extensive experience in tournament management and competition oversight. Currently serving as Tournament & Competitions Manager for PGA TOUR since June 2023, Terry previously held the position of Tournament Referee for PGA TOUR Canada from March 2017 to June 2023. As President and Consulting Specialist for DoubleTee Promotions from January 2016 to June 2023, Terry demonstrated leadership in various operational aspects of the golfing industry. Prior experience includes serving as Tournament Director for NGA Hooters Tour and Director of Golf Operations at River Falls Plantation, where expertise in budget management, merchandising, social media promotion, and member engagement was established. Terry's career also includes significant contributions to the development of competitive high school golf programs and a strong commitment to enhancing customer experiences through exceptional service. Education was obtained at Spartanburg Methodist College and Coastal Carolina University.
