Ashwini Mani

Ashwini Mani is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering and transmission planning. Currently serving as Manager Transmission Interconnection Planning at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since September 2013, Ashwini leads initiatives to advance California's renewable energy goals, focusing on the challenges posed by electric vehicle load growth and building decarbonization. Previous roles include Supervisor and Senior Transmission Interconnection Planning, where Ashwini developed and approved complex renewable generation interconnection projects and contributed to policy advocacy at industry forums. Prior experience includes positions at ERCOT as Market Operations Engineer and Grid Operations Engineer, as well as an Electrical Engineer at Maida Engineering.
