David Downing

David Downing is an accomplished security executive with extensive experience in law enforcement and corporate security. Currently serving as the Director of the Corporate Security Department at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since July 2017, David previously held the position of Assistant Chief of Police at the Oakland Police Department for nearly three decades. Additionally, David has a distinguished military background, having served as Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations from June 1984 to February 2014. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Criminology from Indiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from San José State University.
