Matt Sayers has a diverse professional background that includes significant experience in both the military and the engineering sector. Prior to entering the engineering field, Sayers served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from March 1996 to March 2000, contributing to HQ 3rd Marines. Following military service, Sayers worked at UPS from April 2002 to June 2007 in various roles related to pre-loading and off-loading operations. In 2021, Sayers joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company, ultimately rising to the role of Senior Advising Substation Asset Strategy Engineer and Manager of Substation Asset Management, where responsibilities include overseeing a team that manages substation asset strategies and power transformer assessments.
