Jelle Joustra

Jelle Joustra is an experienced professional in sustainability and strategy consulting. Currently on sabbatical since July 2024, Jelle previously served as Associate Director of Sustainability & ESG at PGGM Investments from November 2021 to July 2024, focusing on integrating sustainability and climate risk within the infrastructure investment portfolio. Prior to that, Jelle was a Manager of Strategy and Innovation at Monitor Deloitte from September 2015 to November 2021, assisting clients with business transformation and strategic growth. Earlier experience includes roles as a Financial Analyst at SnappCar and as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Rocket Internet GmbH, contributing to technology ventures and peer-to-peer car sharing initiatives. Jelle holds a Master of Science in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Geography & Social Planning from Utrecht University.
