Cory Nelson is a seasoned professional in environmental consulting, currently serving as the Business Team Lead at PGL Environmental Consultants since April 2010. In this role, Cory manages a team specializing in contaminated site assessments, remediation, risk assessment, hydrogeology, and sustainable building practices, including LEED certifications. Previously, Cory worked as an Environmental Scientist, where responsibilities included managing Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, evaluating contaminant migration, and preparing regulatory submissions. Prior experience also includes serving as a Project Coordinator at O'Connor Associates Environmental Inc. and as an Environmental Health Aide at Fraser Health, focusing on mosquito breeding habitats related to West Nile Virus. Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a concentration in Physical Geography from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2007.
