Elisa Achiluzzi is an experienced environmental consultant with a strong background in environmental compliance and health and safety management. Currently working at PGL Environmental Consultants since May 2022, Elisa previously held the position of Environmental Compliance Manager at GFL Environmental Inc., where oversight of environmental compliance for transfer stations in Ontario was a key responsibility. Initially promoted to Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Liaison within six months of employment at GFL, Elisa managed a comprehensive health and safety compliance system for a workforce of 5,000 employees across North America. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Ecological Restoration from both the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Simon Fraser University, as well as an Environmental Management Certificate from Seneca Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph.
