Vishwajeet Abhyankar

Vishwajeet Abhyankar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vishwajeet is currently serving as the Vice President - Head Decoration Business at PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President - Business Transformation at Piramal Glass Private Limited for almost a decade, where they were responsible for the P&L of the Container Glass Decoration SBU in India and led the Central Planning Cell.

Before joining Piramal Glass, Vishwajeet worked at Universal Consulting India Pvt Ltd, a strategic alliance partner of L.E.K. Consulting, where they served as a Managing Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Consultant between 2000 and 2011. Vishwajeet also gained valuable experience as a Planning Executive at Haldyn Glass Gujarat Ltd and as a Trainee Engineer at Mahindra & Mahindra - Tractor Division, where they worked in the Capital Purchase Department.

Vishwajeet Abhyankar completed their Masters of Management Studies in Operations from the University of Mumbai from 1996 to 1998. Before that, from 1991 to 1995, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology. Prior to their engineering degree, they completed their H.S.C. in Science from Kishinchand Chellaram College of Arts Commerce and Science in 1991 and S.S.C. from Our Own School in 1989.
