Douglas Thompson

Douglas Thompson has an extensive work experience in the glass industry. Douglas is currently working as the Senior Vice President at PGP Glass USA, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development at PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd. from 2021 to 2022.

Douglas has also served as the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development for the Specialty Liquor Container Division at Piramal Glass - USA, Inc. from 2014 to 2021. During their tenure, they successfully developed strategies, managed sales, design, and product development departments, and designed over 50 new containers, 25 of which received US Design Patents.

Before joining Piramal Glass, Douglas worked as the Regional Sales Manager at SAVERGLASS from 2007 to 2010 and as the Chief Commercial Officer at HEINZ-GLAS Group from 1997 to 2007.

Douglas Thompson attended Rutgers College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and English. Douglas also studied at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
