PHAEUROPE is the European and global umbrella organization for pulmonary hypertension patient associations. It was founded in 2003 and is registered in Vienna, Austria, as an international non-profit organization. PHAEUROPE has 40 member associations from 33 European countries.

PHAEUROPE, as an organization, is dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges of pulmonary hypertension through a comprehensive strategy founded on four fundamental pillars:

• Capacity Building
• Advocacy
• Information

PHAEUROPE's four key objectives remain unchanged: 
• Early diagnosis, 
• Best treatment, 
• Better quality of life
• Finding a cure

PHAEUROPE spearheads World Pulmonary Hypertension Day  (WPHD) on May 5, a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness of pulmonary hypertension (PH), a serious condition affecting the lungs and heart.
