Hans Pieringer

Hans Pieringer is a seasoned professional dedicated to combating multidrug-resistant bacteria as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of PhageLab, a position held since September 2010. Previously, Hans served as a Professor of "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" for fourth-year Biotechnology Engineering students at Universidad Andrés Bello from March 2013 to July 2018. Hans began a career in research as an MSc student at Fundación Ciencia & Vida in the Laboratory of Forestry Biotechnology from 2009 to 2010. Academic achievements include an MSc in Biotechnology and a Biotechnology Engineering degree, both from Universidad Andrés Bello, as well as participation in the Food and Health Entrepreneurship Academy Scholarship at the University of California, Davis.
