Yamuna Krishnamurthy

Yamuna Krishnamurthy has extensive work experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Yamuna currently holds the position of Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Phamily since July 2023. Prior to their current role, they served as a PhD Candidate at Royal Holloway, University of London starting in September 2018. Yamuna also worked as a Research Associate at New York University from February 2015 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Summer Intern at Microsoft Research and Cloud AI Group in June 2014. Yamuna also worked as a Research Associate at University of Dortmund from July 2012 to June 2014. Before that, they held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's Auton Lab from April 2010 to June 2012. Yamuna began their career as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs in April 2006 and later worked as a Software Consultant at Carlin Equities Group from February 2005 to April 2006. Yamuna's journey in the industry started with co-founding OOMWorks LLC in September 2000, where they served as a Co-Founder until February 2005.

Yamuna Krishnamurthy is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Machine Learning at Royal Holloway, University of London, from 2018 to 2022. Before that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
