Director Of Software at Phantom High-Speed Cameras - Vision Research

Petru Pop began their work experience in 1981 as an Engineer at Infratirea. Petru then worked as a Software Developer and Team Leader at ICPE Bucuresti from December 1983 to 1992, where they focused on software design and development for CNC and balancing machines, as well as conducting research on neural networks. In 1992, Pop joined Vision Research as the Director of Software, where they were responsible for software design and development for high-speed cameras. Their work at Vision Research received recognition, including a Technology & Engineering Emmy award in 2010 and an Academy Scientific and Technical Award in 2011.

Petru Pop attended Liceul Emanoil Gojdu in Oradea from 1971 to 1972 for their secondary education. Petru then enrolled in Liceul nr. 4 Oradea from 1972 to 1975, specializing in physics. After completing their secondary education, Petru pursued higher studies at Institutul Politehnic Timisoara. From 1976 to 1981, they obtained an Engineer's degree from the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, with a focus on applied electronics.
