Rajath Shanbag

Rajath Shanbag has a wealth of experience in the mobile engineering field. Rajath began their career in 2008 as an Intern at Sun MicroSystems, where they worked on the development of the Internationalization Module in NetBeans 6.0. Following this, they worked as an Application Engineer at Oracle India Pvt Ltd from 2009 to 2012. During this period, they also worked as a Mobile App Developer at Rootstock Software, where they developed HTML5, Javascript and Apex scripting based mobile apps for the manufacturing module unit developed on Salesforce platform. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Team Lead at Pandora, where they were responsible for breathing life into the world-class iOS app. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Mobile Developer at Snap Inc. and from 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Team Lead and Mobile Engineer at Facebook. Currently, they are an Engineering Manager at Phantom.

Rajath Shanbag completed their B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Rajath then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
