Pingyun Chen

Pingyun (P. Y.) Chen, Ph.D., is a pharmaceutical scientist and R&D leader with extensive experience in drug development and formulation. They served as the Director of Global Pre-formulation & Material Science and Director of Early Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they held various positions at Eli Lilly and Company and GSK, including Principal Research Scientist and Manager of Particle and Process Sciences and Engineering. Currently, Chen is the VP and Head of Drug Product Development at PharmaBlock Group, while also pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
