Anna/Annelies Dekker has a diverse work experience. Anna/ Annelies started their career as a Management Consultant at Berenschot, where they focused on public management of market competition and privatization. Anna/ Annelies then joined PharmAccess International as the Country Director for Ghana, overseeing the PharmAccess & Medical Credit Fund. Anna/ Annelies later became the Country Representative for Ghana at PharmAccess Foundation, where they also held the role of Senior Consultant, working on consultancy assignments for public and private clients. Anna/ Annelies then moved on to the role of Senior Project Manager, providing consultancy and implementation support in corporate health programs for multinational clients. At PharmAccess Foundation, they served as the Deputy Director of Quality, Deputy Director of Provider Products, Director of SafeCare, and currently holds the position of Strategy Director. This extensive experience showcases their expertise in various areas of healthcare and management.

Anna/Annelies Dekker completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Social and Organisational Psychology from Leiden University between 1994 and 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Development Sociology from the same university, which they completed from 1995 to 2002.
