Albert Herrero Rosello

Albert Herrero Rosello has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Albert began their career in 2006 with summer jobs in various companies as a warehouse operator and similar roles. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer in different consultant companies and clients including "Atos," "Applus+," "Vass," "Generalitat de Catalunya," "everis," and "Allianz." In this role, they were involved in projects such as the migration to the new Therefore 2011 CMS and the development of the old CMS corporative platform using Oracle 11g and J2EE. Since 2016, Albert has been a Senior Engineer at Pharmacelera, where they have been responsible for software improvement, designing and developing new solutions and products using C/C++, Python, OpenMP, MPI, Slurm, and Docker. Albert has also been a co-participant and co-author of various projects and research papers.

Albert Herrero Rosello completed a Master's degree in Computational Engineering and Mathematics at Universitat Rovira i Virgili from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2013 to 2015. Albert also completed a Diplomatura en Ingeniería Informática, specializing in Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Sistemas, at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, although specific dates for this educational experience were not provided.
