Juan Camilo Esguerra

Juan Camilo Esguerra serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Government Affairs at PharmaCielo, where responsibilities include designing market expansion strategies and establishing legal frameworks for financing and regulatory compliance in the cannabis industry. Esguerra previously held the position of Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at the same company, leading its successful IPO and facilitating Colombia's first legal cannabis export. Furthermore, Esguerra is a board member of Asocolcanna, the Colombian National Cannabis Trade Association. Academic contributions as a Professor of Law and Economics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and experience as an Associate at DLA Piper highlight expertise in corporate law, project finance, and international regulations.
