Pharmacist Support
Sophie Saunders is a Mental Health Pharmacist at Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust since September 2021, with extensive involvement in healthcare and community support. As an Ambassador for Pharmacist Support, Sophie promotes the charity's objectives, raising awareness and generating income through community engagement. Previous experience includes serving as a Dementia Friends Champion with the Alzheimer's Society, where Sophie advocated for individuals living with dementia, and as a Rotational Resident Pharmacist at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, gaining diverse clinical experience. Educational achievements include a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health Therapeutics from Aston University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores University. Sophie's commitment to professional development and community service is further demonstrated through various roles in student representation and contributions to pharmacy communication.

Pharmacist Support is an independent, trusted charity, providing a wide variety of support services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists and pharmacy students. We listen, without judgement, and encourage and empower people to create positive change. Each year we provide thousands of acts of support – we make good things happen. Our free and confidential support includes a stress helpline, the Wardley Wellbeing service, financial and employment advice, addiction support, an information and enquiry service and financial assistance for those experiencing hardship.
