Lauren Pineda, PharmD, is a seasoned pharmacist with extensive experience in pharmacy management and workflow optimization. Currently serving as a pharmacist at Pharmacy Alternatives since May 2023, Lauren previously held positions at Truepill from October 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included training team members and managing a high-volume prescription workflow. Prior experience at CVS Pharmacy included roles as a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager, where Lauren successfully improved store performance and facilitated COVID-19 vaccinations in long-term care facilities. Early career experience comprised various roles, including certified pharmacy technician at Hampshire Pharmacy and significant contributions to community health projects during pharmacy education at the University of Illinois Chicago.

We are one of the only pharmacies in the nation specializing in serving special-needs populations. The individuals we serve live in intermediate care facilities, waiver homes, group homes, assisted living, supported-living or foster care.
