Karen McKenzie

Karen McKenzie has over 25 years of experience in project management and research within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Currently serving as a Project Manager at PharmaDirections since July 2010, Karen provides expertise on preclinical, CMC, and product development programs for virtual biotech companies. Previously, Karen held various management roles, including Director of Project & Alliance Management at NANOSYN, INC, and Associate Director of Project Management at AMPHORA DISCOVERY CORP. Early career experiences include senior project management positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Eli Lilly & Company, as well as research roles at Duke University Medical Center and The University of Chicago Medical Center. Karen earned a Master’s in Animal Genetics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Virginia Polytechnic & State University.
