Armando DeSousa has a strong work experience spanning over 20 years. Armando started their career as a Senior Associate at Howie & Partners Chartered Accountants in 1995. After three years, they moved on to PwC, where they worked as an Audit Manager until 2000. At Valeo, Armando held two key roles - Plant Controller from 2004-2005 and R&D Financial Controller from 2000-2004. Since 2005, they have been serving as the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Pharma Medica Research Inc.

Armando DeSousa completed their education in accounting and finance, focusing on professional certifications and a bachelor's degree. In 1992, they enrolled at the University of Windsor and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree. Following this, in 1997, they pursued further professional development by attending the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, obtaining a CA qualification. Armando then sought to expand their expertise and enrolled at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1998 to achieve the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in Illinois.
