Gaël Schmitt has a diverse work experience in the field of process engineering and biotech production facilities construction. Gaël worked as a Lead Engineer at PHARMAPLAN (TTP Group) from 2020 to present, where they were responsible for all project phases and focused on process engineering. Prior to that, they worked at PHARMAPLAN as a Process Engineer from 2013 to 2020. Additionally, they gained experience as a Bioprocess R&D intern at Sanofi Pasteur in 2013, an Intern in the UPR 9022 at IBMC in 2012, and as an Intern at Biotec Center TU Dresden in 2011.
Gaël Schmitt attended the Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie Strasbourg from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Biotechnologist Engineering with a specialization in Bioproduction. Gaël also studied at the Faculté de Pharmacie, Université de Strasbourg from 2012 to 2013, completing a Master's program in "Biotechnology and Therapeutic Innovations". Additionally, they attended Lycée Jean Rostand Strasbourg from 2008 to 2010, studying in the CPGE BCPST program.
