Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently serving as the Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Pharmaron since September 2023. Previously, Mark held various prominent roles at LEO Pharma from March 2015 to August 2023, including Senior Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist. Mark's experience also includes significant positions at Peakdale Molecular, Pfizer, and as a Temporary Lecturer at the University of Bristol. Mark began academic pursuits with a DPhil in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Oxford. Additionally, Mark has contributed to research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alberta under the guidance of Professor John Vederas.
