Ruchi Jhonsa

Ruchi Jhonsa, Ph.D., currently serves as a Project Manager in Cell and Gene Therapy at Pharmaron, a position held since May 2021. Prior to this role, Ruchi worked as a Scientific Editor at GeneOnline, contributing to the biotechnology field by disseminating research discoveries. Ruchi has valuable experience from an internship at Harvard Medical School and has been involved with the Genetics Society of America as an Early Career Leader, focusing on career development and storytelling for scientists. A postdoctoral fellow at MPI-CBG, Ruchi mentored students through the "Science goes to school" initiative and participated in a summer school on technology transfer in life sciences at Technische Universität Dresden. Previous positions include Scientist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific and mentorship roles at various academic institutions. Ruchi's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology and Calcium Signaling from the Indian Institute of Science, along with a Master's degree in Plant Molecular Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Delhi University.
