Yugang Liu is currently the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Pharmaron, a role they began in 2025. Previously, from 2020 to 2025, they served as Director of Science & Technology in CMC at Novartis, overseeing technical development processes and leading multi-functional teams across numerous projects. Yugang has extensive experience in API development, having managed over 40 projects annually and contributed to the advancement of various drug substances into clinical stages. They hold a M.S. in Organic Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Rochester.
