Beatriz Bicalho

Beatriz Bicalho, PhD, is an accomplished expert in analytical chemistry with extensive experience in various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as an Expert Analyst in LCMS Applications Development and Scientific Affairs at Pharmascience since September 2021, Beatriz has previously held roles as an SME in Analytical Chemistry at Coanda Research and Development Corporation and as a Scientist in Analytical Development at Radient Technologies Inc., where responsibilities included developing analytical methods for cannabis extracts. Prior academic positions include Research Associate at the University of Alberta and Postdoctoral Researcher at Canadian Blood Services and Ghent University, focusing on lipidomics and trace elements. Beatriz earned a Doctor of Science in Chemistry with a focus on Biotransformation and Biocatalysis from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, complemented by a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Bern and a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
