Sara Jenkins-Jones has a long and varied work experience. Sara began their career in 1990 as a Project Editor at Hutchinson Reference, Random House. In 1994, they moved on to become a Managing Editor at Helicon Publishing. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as a Freelance Editor. During this time, they also worked as a Regional Senior Editor for Bowne Global Solutions/Adastra Publishing, where they managed editorial teams in six countries providing services and content for Microsoft websites and search engine, as well as acting as a content localization consultant for ask. com. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Freelance Editor again. Sara then moved to Cardiff University, where they were a Research Student/Support Tutor from 2005 to 2009. In 2016, they began working as an Honorary Senior Research Associate at UCL, and is currently employed as a Research Data Lead at Human Data Sciences.
Sara Jenkins-Jones obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Zoology from UCL between 1983 and 1986. Sara then went on to receive their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 2004 and 2005.
