Ilias Papavasiliou

Ilias Papavasiliou has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Ilias is currently the Head of Engineering at Pharmathen since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at DS Smith from October 2021 to April 2023. Ilias also served as the Tech Manager at Tottis Bingo S.A. from November 2018 to October 2021, where they were responsible for project team coordination and technical support activities. Before that, they founded and owned Burger League Greece from June 2015 to May 2018. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Technical Services at KONVA SA from October 2004 to January 2015, where they were responsible for maintenance activities, modernization, and cost reduction. Ilias also served as the Director of Technical Services at Spectra Sony Center from January 2002 to September 2004, and as the Director of Technical Operations at IMPERIAL FRUIT from January 2001 to November 2001. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Support Team Lead at ALATINI from January 1999 to November 2000, and as a Production Supervisor at SIDENOR steel industry from September 1994 to December 1998.

Ilias Papavasiliou obtained a Master's degree in Systemes Energetiques from CentraleSupélec in the year 1992. Prior to that, they studied Electrical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 1985 to 1991.
