Mary G.

Mary G. has over 30 years of experience in consumer marketing, promotional product licensing, graphic design, public relations, social media, and web design. Mary has worked for multiple companies, most recently SmartStart Education as a Marketing Specialist. Prior to this, they were the Director of Communications and Public Relations for PharmD Live from 2019-2022, and a Communications & Public Awareness Coordinator for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati from 2012-2019. Mary also held the role of Public Information Officer for the Granville Exempted Village School District from 2012-2014 and Public Relations Officer for the Groveport Madison Local School District from 2014-2017. Mary G. has also held multiple freelance and volunteer roles, including a Marketing Communications Specialist from 2015-2018, and a Marketing Consultant from 2009-2012. Mary is currently semi-retired, open to paid project or freelance work.

Mary G. began their educational journey at West Iron County High School, where they obtained their GED in 1981. Mary then attended Grand Valley State University from 1981 to 1985, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising/Public Relations and Psychology. In 2002, Mary G. enrolled in the University of Cincinnati, studying Electronic Media and Graphic Design. Additionally, they obtained certifications in E Marketing and Social Media from the LERN Academy through the University of Cincinnati.
