Curtis Childress, Jr. MSM has over 16 years of work experience in the scientific industry. Curtis began their career at Ferro Corporation in 2003 as the Lead Quality Control Scientist, where they provided technical support and managed a team of chemist/technicians. Curtis ensured the compliance of testing procedures and reviewed laboratory data for raw materials. In 2005, they joined PharMEDium Healthcare as a Stability Project Specialist, responsible for managing stability studies, designing protocols, and analyzing data for future admixtures. Curtis also supported marketing and operations departments for new product launches. Later, Curtis became an R&D Project Manager at PharMEDium Healthcare in 2008, where they provided scientific technical support for hospital admixtures and oversaw various research projects. Curtis designed and implemented three laboratories to test admixtures, ensuring compliance with cGMP/GLP standards.

Curtis Childress, Jr. MSM obtained a Master of Science in Management degree from Cardinal Stritch University between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry ACS Certified from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, completing their studies between 1989 and 1995.
