Hjalti Thorarinsson

Hjalti Thorarinsson is a seasoned business executive currently serving as the Chief Business Officer at PharmID, Inc. since 2024, and as a Board Member at Tempo Software and Origo Iceland. In previous roles, Hjalti held the position of VP of Innova Software at Marel, directing the software team dedicated to modern processing plants, and served as Sr. Director of Business Development at Microsoft, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Services. Before that, Hjalti co-founded and led Dimon Software as CEO, growing the company to $5 million in revenue by 2003. Hjalti holds an MBA in Business/Managerial Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Iceland.
