Marcel Freling

Marcel Freling, cpim has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management and financial planning. Marcel is currently working as a Supply Chain Project Lead at Pharming Group N.V., where they coordinate and implements supply chain projects and ensures alignment with the company's long-term objectives. Prior to this, Marcel worked at MSD as a Demand & Fulfillment Specialist, where they monitored and enabled compliant and timely supply to internal and external customers. Marcel also served as a Sr Financial Planner & Analyst at Ingram Micro, supporting the company's lines of business in IT distribution. Marcel's experience also includes working as a Merchandise Planner at Hudson's Bay Company and a Coordinater Inbound Planning at Adidas Group. Marcel has a strong background in finance and supply chain management, with previous roles at Unilever and IBM BTO Krakow. Marcel has a traineeship finance and supply chain management from Yacht. Overall, Marcel has a diverse range of experiences in supply chain project management, inventory management, financial analysis, and planning.

Marcel Freling, CPIM, has a diverse education history. In 2021-2022, Marcel completed the CPIM program at APICS. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Master supply chain management from the Universiteit van Tilburg from 2011 to 2013. Marcel also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Business Administration from the same university, which they obtained from 2005-2012. Furthermore, Marcel attended the Eerste Christelijk Lyceum Haarlem for their VWO degree. In addition to their formal education, Marcel has also obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Global Lean Six Sigma Competency.
