Wesley Blankenship

Wesley Blankenship, PharmD, MSHA, FACHE has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Wesley is currently working as the Director Medical Science - Immunology and Inflammation at Pharming Group N.V. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at United Therapeutics Corporation from 2020 to 2022. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Regional Medical Liaison at Novo Nordisk. Before that, they held the position of Managing Consultant at AmerisourceBergen/PHS from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they served as the President of Central Virginia Healthcare Executives Group from 2015 to 2016. Wesley started their career as the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital of Carilion Clinic from 2005 to 2012. Wesley also gained teaching experience as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology/Basic Sciences at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute from 2009 to 2011.

Wesley Blankenship holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, which was completed between 1997 and 2001. Wesley also earned a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, accomplished from 2011 to 2013. In 2022, Wesley Blankenship attended Harvard Medical School, participating in the HMX Fundamentals Certificate Program for Immunology.
