Jarkko has over 30 years of experience in the pain field, including basic and clinical pain research, senior roles at several multidisciplinary pain clinics and 12 years of experience from the pharma industry as principal scientist and senior clinical research physician at AstraZeneca R&D Södertälje. working mainly with analgesic drug development.

He holds an M.D. with specialization in Rehabilitation Medicine and Pain Medicine.
