Nic van der Nol has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. They started their career in 1992 as a Network Broker Trades Operator at BNP Paribas. They later worked as an Architect and Project Manager at Jacobs Wyper Architects from 2000 to 2002. Nic also worked at S2F Architects and Engineers Pty Ltd where they served as an Architectural Graduate, Project Architect, and Process Architect from 1998 to 2003. They then worked as a Design and Construct Partner at Desyne Developments from 1994 to 2004. Nic also worked as a Project and Construction Manager at Haniva Properties from 2003 to 2004. They served as an On-Site Property Maintenance Manager at Pacific International Hotel from 2004 to 2005.

In 2005, Nic joined Architects for Hire where they worked as an Architect and Builder. They then worked as a Sessional Tutor at Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne from 2014 to 2016. Throughout their career, Nic has gained extensive experience in architectural design, documentation, project management, and contract administration, specializing in pharmaceutical, hospital, and manufacturing facilities. Additionally, they have held leadership roles, contributed to the education and technical efficiency of members, and have been actively involved in the advancement of the architectural and engineering industry.
