Remzi Semsettin Turer

Remzi Semsettin Turer has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Remzi Semsettin began their career in 1995 as a Webmaster/Internet Specialist at Superonline Inc., the largest ISP in Turkey. In 1996, they moved to Internet Cafe A.S. where they were the Webmaster. There, they designed and maintained company and client websites, managed SQL databases, and designed Turkey's first e-card and adult X-rated sites. In 1998, they joined Softcom Inc. as VP of Research and Development, where they tested and implemented new products, administered Active Directory domains, and Exchange 2007 infrastructure. Remzi Semsettin also transformed the customer support system from emails only by building a corporate phone system and call center. Later that year, they moved to Comnet A.S. in Istanbul as the Manager of Database Technologies. In 2010, they joined Wells Fargo Bank as an Enterprise Messaging & Collaboration Mobility Engineer, where they led and handled all aspects of Blackberry and other mobile engineering projects. Finally, in 2011, they joined Pharr Technologies Company as VP of Operations, where they managed, led, and trained the helpdesk and engineering teams, and acted as a subject matter expert in IT Projects and Enterprise Solutions.

Remzi Semsettin Turer obtained their MS in Environmental Engineering from Boğaziçi University between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University between 1989 and 1994. In 2006, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft. Remzi Semsettin also holds the Blackberry Certified Enterprise Server Consultant certification from Research In Motion.
