Stefan Abele

Stefan Abele is the Chief Technical Operations Officer at Pharvaris, overseeing Chemistry, Manufacturing, Controls (CMC), development and manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products, global supply chain management, project management, and IT/business information systems. Previously, Abele served as Senior Vice President and Head of Chemical Development and Commercial Manufacturing at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, managing drug substance process R&D from preclinical phases to commercial supply. Abele has extensive experience in chemical process R&D and commercial manufacturing from roles at Actelion and CARBOGEN AMCIS. Abele holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from ETH Zürich, along with various business leadership qualifications from IMD and ZfU International Business School.
