Michael Palmieri

Michael Palmieri brings over 20 years of scientific, quality, and operational experience to his role as the Head of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC). At Tango, he will be responsible for leading all CMC-related activities for, including process chemistry, drug substance, drug product, analytical, and formulation activities.

Before joining Tango, Michael spent more than 20 years at Alkermes, where he led small molecule CMC activities from the lead optimization phase through to commercialization. He held many roles both in Quality Control and Analytical R&D before ultimately becoming Vice President, Scientific Operations and CMC Governance.

Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, and a doctorate in analytical chemistry from Temple University.
