Shari Pederson

Shari Pederson has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Shari began their career in 1994 as a Systems Analyst/Programmer V and Team Lead at MCI, where they analyzed, coded, and system tested programs for Customer Registration (CORE). In 1999, they moved to Qwest Communications as a Systems Software Tester, where they system tested software for the EDI (Electronic Data Interface) system before it moved to production. Later that same year, they became a Systems Analyst and Test Lead at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where they were the Test Lead for Y2K and ran test scripts with QA Run software. In 2000, they joined ChannelPoint/Trizetto as a Software Test Engineer, where they were the Project Lead on QA Market Rollouts. Shari then moved to Jeppesen Sanderson in 2003, where they tested a web-based application and a client/server application that delivered content to the Electronic Flight Bag hardware. In 2007, Shari joined Verizon Business as a Sr Software Test Engineer, where they tested the interface between different applications and created and maintained test cases within Quality Center. Shari then moved to Western Union in 2009 as a QA Lead. In 2018, Shari became self-employed as a Photographer. Most recently, they joined Phase Change Software LLC in 2022 as a Senior Quality Engineer.

Shari Pederson attended North Dakota State College of Science from 1986 to 1988, where they earned an Associates degree in Computer Programming.
