Shawn Maloney

Shawn Maloney has extensive work experience in the field of software testing. Shawn started their career in 1997 at Pacificare/FHP/Andersen as a Software Tester. Shawn then worked as a Software Test Engineer at ChannelPoint/Trizetto and ChannelPoint, Inc from 1998 to 2003. In 2003, they joined Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, initially as a Software Test Engineer and later as a Sr. Software Test Lead. At Jeppesen, they were responsible for coordinating and participating in testing activities for a product line of Business Aviation System Development. Shawn also gathered and reported quality metrics and managed automation and manual test case coverage. In 2020, Shawn joined Phase Change Software LLC as a Sr. Software Test Engineer.

Shawn Maloney is currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security at Colorado State University Global, starting in 2020. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including API Testing Foundations, Learning Java, Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design, Programming Foundations: Real-World Examples, Learning GitLab, and Programming Foundations: Fundamentals, all from LinkedIn. Shawn also completed the Selenium Essential Training course in October 2019 and Azure DevOps First Look course in March 2019, also from LinkedIn. Furthermore, Shawn obtained the Scaled Scrum Master Certified (SSMC) certification from Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training in August 2020.
