Jonas Grove

Jonas Grove has diverse work experience in the field of computational biology and lab research. Jonas is currently employed at Phase Genomics, where they have progressed from the role of Computational Biology to Computational Biologist I, II, and currently III. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Oregon as a Graduate Research Project member, where they developed a metagenomic deconvolution pipeline and utilized Hi-C proximity ligation sequence data. Jonas also developed interactive reports using R Shiny for communicating algal pond community compositions. Before that, Jonas worked as a Lab Tech at Napro research and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Dr. Beckles Lab at the University of California, Davis. Jonas also had a short-term role as a Cultivator at Molecular Farms.

Jonas Grove began their education in 2018 at the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and Computer Science. Jonas completed their undergraduate studies in 2020. In the following year, 2020-2021, they attended the University of Oregon, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics.
